… Water is … lifeblood, change, transformation.
Floods of information, swarms of people, internet streaming.
It’s all in the flow.
Physical Theatre Research Labor
Streaming Bodies
10–22 August 2019 | Tanzzentrale Fürth (Region Nürnberg) | daily, 10h – 17h
Streaming Bodies is a 12-day Physical Theatre laboratory. Our approaches are inspired by: physical theatre, contemporary dance, butoh, somatics, contact improvisation, yoga, fine arts, performance art, … Water serves us as a metaphor for movement and dance and as a rich topic for questioning contemporary society. Improvisation alone, in duos or with the whole group leads into choreographies and performances. At the end of the lab will be a public performance.
The interdisciplinary research lab takes place as a creative residence at Tanzzentrale Nuremberg and is led by Rosalin Hertrich and Valentina Eimer. Professional artists and cultural workers are as well invited as beginners of all genders and nationalities. It is also possible to participate less than 12 days.
The daily working hours are from 10am to 5pm. Since nobody should be excluded due to financial reasons, there is no fixed participation fee. Donations are welcome (10-15 € ist recommended).
