das Kollaktiv was founded in Berlin in 2017 by Rosalin Hertrich and Marc Carrera after three years experience running the 2nd phase of Tatwerk Studio in Berlin Neuköln. Sophie Ketteniß joined shortly afterwards as a teaching supporter and became a full member of das Kollaktiv.
The aim of das Kollaktiv is to further develop a teaching and artistic concept for a contemporary Physical Theatre. The three members of the collective are engaged in an ongoing discussion about the possibilities, directions, formats, spaces and materials that promote a transdisciplinary approach to the umbrella-term of Physical Theatre.
